Civic Theatre is the heart of Newcastle’s live performing arts. With a rich history spanning over 96 years, the theatre can seat over 2300 guests across its two theatre rooms and adjoining Newcastle City Hall.
Due to the historical significance of the venue, Newcastle Civic Theatre sought to update their communications equipment in the event of an emergency.
Desiring an updated digital radio fleet that would equip their personnel with reliable communications and a fire panel alert system which contacted staff with emergency messages, Civic Theatre Newcastle contacted National Wireless.

These channels operated across the theatres 3 separate locations, and an emergency background channel provides supervisors with an emergency override which contacts all fleet radios.
