The loudest intrinsically safe TETRA radio on the market, the full-keypad STP8X000 carries an IP67 environmental protection rating continuing to work after submersion in up to 1m of water for up to 30 minutes and meets the exacting requirements of the IECEx standard v6.

With long battery life and features such as Man-Down, offering motion and tilt monitoring, local alarm and over-the-air alerting. Optional Bluetooth and GPS, the STP8X000 walkie talkie significantly enhances worker safety. In addition, hot-swap technology allows certified Nexus connector-based headsets to be attached or removed in hazardous areas.
