Natwire OH&S Management System now certified to the ISO 45001:2018 standard

Following a rigorous process across the last year, lead by one of our directors, Clive Jeffries, we are pleased to announce that an independent certification approval panel has approved the Certification of our Occupational Health & Safety Management System to the ISO 45001:2018 standard.

ISO 45001 is an International Standard that specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, with guidance for its use, to enable an organisation to proactively improve its OH&S performance in preventing injury and ill-health. ISO 45001 certification was developed to mitigate any factors that can cause employees and businesses irreparable harm. For more information on ISO 45000 read here…

Consistency means efficiency – ISO 45001 ensures our operations are built around best practice. This is then mirrored across the company and sets a standard for managing risks. Having a strong, consistent standard means we are efficient across the board. This translates into better service for our customers

Preventative risk and hazard assessment – Implementing ISO 45001 helps us prevent risks as opposed to reacting to them once they are detected by others. The internal auditing system provides an ‘early warning system’ to help us spot potential threats to health and safety.

We have made a commitment to maintaining our certification. There will be an ongoing process of audits to ensure we will continue to actively facilitate continuous improvement of our employees’ morale, safety and performance. We hope our customers will benefit from these improvements.
